The Cannabis Cup
1
The Lowdown: Spare the jokes about a "buzzing scene" during this "high"-light event: Nearly 20 years old, this chilled-out good time grows larger every year. Opening ceremonies, awards shows, and nightly entertainment add to the agenda, but let's face it, there's one reason you're gonna attend. Splash out for a "Judges Pass," which includes some valuable, uh... information and the right to vote on the year's best crop.

When: The third week in November, usually beginning on Sunday; advance tickets sold in US dollars: Judges pass $175 early-bird online rate, $200 regular online rate; €200 at door.

Where: The Melkweg and various locations
