Las Vegas
Blue Martini 6593 S. Las Vegas Blvd., South Strip, 702-949-2583 bluemartinilounge.com
The Draw: Cheap eats and drinks, hot waitresses in bustiers, and live music. The Scene: This popular happy-hour spot draws a primarily local crowd and scores high points for good-looking guys and gals, ranging from young professionals to cougars on the prowl. Hot Tip: Arrive early—or reserve a table—in order to land a seat, then opt for the mango martini, by far the bar’s best seller.
Center Bar The Hard Rock, 4455 Paradise Rd., East Flamingo, 702-693-5000
The Draw: This bar, which has been around for more than a decade (making it relatively old, by Vegas standards), is still a prime spot to see and be seen. The Scene: Located smack in the middle of the Hard Rock casino, the bar is the spot for scoping out bronzed babes and towheaded California boys, as well as the grungier clientele headed for Wasted Space. Hot Tip: Go between 4 and 8pm for two-for-one happy hours and $2 domestic beers. On Thursdays, the hottest girl in the house wins $300.
Tabú Ultra Lounge MGM Grand, 3799 Las Vegas Blvd S., South Strip, 702-891-7183
The Draw: It’s worth a trip just to see the space, with its projection art designed by a former Cirque du Soleil exec. The Scene: This ultra-lounge boasts the most attractive cocktail girls on the Strip—yes, it’s true, you need at least two years of modeling experience to work here—and the clientele is nearly as hot. Hot Tip: Go on Rok Box Monday, when DJ Scotty Boy spins a combo of old-school rock and hip-hop jams.
