» Toast Las Vegas
We believe that life is a celebration, providing us with innumerable
excuses to make a toast. We have searched high and low for the
best places to toast in the world's Cool Cities.
The Scene: More like an intimate house party than your typical Vegas club, this grown-up nightspot is happily devoid of twenty-somethings in miniskirts and beer-guzzling frat boys. Expect a sophisticated crowd—and definitely go elsewhere if you’re looking for go-go dancers or the Pussycat Dolls. Daily 9pm-3am. The Clincher: Nothing says special occasion like a bottle of Cristal. Order one here and you’ll be treated like a movie star: Waitresses deliver the goods amid flashing lights and the theme song to Rocky, Star Wars, Mission Impossible, or Indiana Jones.
The Scene: The champagne lounge adjacent to French-heavy Guy Savoy's eponymous restaurant has a menu of “Bites and Bubbles”—eight different types of bubbly by the glass served alongside small, big, and sweet bites of caviar, foie gras, Kobe beef, and pots de crème—and a retractable glass wall overlooking the Strip. Wed-Sun 5:30-10:30pm. The Clincher: You can impress your honey with expensive champagne and fancy French fare—without blowing your entire vacation budget. www.caesarspalace.com
The Scene: This 64th-floor lounge has it all: a cosmic interior with a moon-rock–like fiberglass bar, Milky Way-esque lighting, glowing aluminum tables, and curvilinear banquettes; stunning Strip views; and an inventive, and surprisingly reasonable, cocktail list. Daily 5pm-3am, Wed until 4am. The Clincher: It shares a kitchen with Alain Ducasse’s neighboring Michelin-starred restaurant.
